Emergency services have been called to a huge house fire in Winton

It’s been confirmed everyone was evacuated safely

Emergency services have been called to a house fire on Parker Road in Winton.

A video posted on Twitter shows a blaze clearly coming from the upstairs of the house, before fire fighters arrive on the scene. It has been reported by witnesses that nobody was hurt.

A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) said: “We are currently at a domestic property fire in Parker Road, Bournemouth.

“We have six fire engines and one aerial ladder platform at the scene. These are from Westbourne, Poole, Springbourne, Redhill and Christchurch.

“This is an ongoing incident so at this time we do not have a cause, but we can confirm all occupants of the property evacuated in time.”

According to the Bournemouth Echo, DWFRS says the call came in at 2.45pm and that four breathing apparatus wearers, two hose reel jets and one main line were used to put out the fire.
