Influencer who was on Perez Hilton’s live apologises as she shares her footage from the stream

Some are ‘absolutely disgusted’ by her response

Mina, one of the TikTokers who was on the live with Perez Hilton when he was self-harming, has posted another video addressing the moment.

Perez Hilton is now recovering in hospital after numerous members of the public reported his TikTok live to the police. In it, he was cutting himself on the face and body while covered in blood.

When it all occurred on Tuesday, Mina hit back at other influencers who were using the now-viral moment for clout.

“You don’t give a f**k about Perez, you saw the views going up and you stuck to it. The minute that you saw the views going up, when you started acting sad you milked it,” she scathed in the video. “The f**k? And I think Perez needs real help. I do, I do, but these people that are milking it for their own s**t, for their own views, that’s even weirder.”

Despite her firm words, she’s continued to post about Perez’s live on TikTok while sharing heavily censored footage of the livestream.

Mina apologised for her part in Perez Hilton’s TikTok live

When the livestream first happened, many people accused the other influencers of joking and encouraging what Perez was doing. Some even claimed one of them said “you missed a spot”, something Mina denied in an earlier video. Still, she could “understand” why people might be upset about the livestream.

She explained in a new TikTok: “I can kind of understand why people are upset. I want to say that from the bottom of my heart, that was never mine or Anti’s [boyfriend] intention at all to make fun of someone who is trying to unalive themselves or going through a mental health crisis.”

Watching back the videos, which she has since shared from her own TikTok studio, she could see how their reactions were interpreted the “wrong way.” She acknowledged that intention doesn’t matter; it’s how the moment was recieved that does.

Mina also slammed people who are putting out “misinformation” about what was said on the stream, which is why she’s been releasing the videos herself to clear her name.

Anti thought it was a skit which we previously said bc the chat was saying it and lindo said that too. At the end we were concerned and very worried for Perez. Nowhere here did anyone say “you missed a spot” stop spreading false narratives

“What’s important right now is that Perez is safe,” she said. “I hope to God that he comes back more motivated, happier, healthier, and in a better state of mind, cause that’s what’s really important. I don’t care whether they [TikTok] tries to cancel us or not; the point is that if Perez is okay. That’s what’s important.”

Still, Mina’s comment section was largely negative. People referenced moments in the now-viral stream that in context seem callous and cruel. In one, her boyfriend joked about the water in Florida, where Perez lives.

“Absolutely disgusted. It’s too little too late,” one person said.

Another wrote: “Why would Anti start recording honestly disgraceful behaviour?”

We’re yet to hear anything else about Perez Hilton’s condition besides him recovering in hospital.
