Details emerge of 911 call made about Perez Hilton as update on his condition is shared
He was hospitalised after posting a graphic self-h*rm livestream
More details have emerged about the 911 call that was made about Perez Hilton, as we also learn more about his current condition.
Emergency services were seen outside the Miami home of the celebrity blogger on Tuesday night, after reports he was self-harming, and livestreaming the incident in a video posted to TikTok.
The video is reported to have shown the dad of three covered in blood, holding a knife, making cuts to his body and face. The sheriff’s office has since said it responded to the incident, and spoke to family members at the scene.
Perez, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, is said to have “barricaded” himself inside his home. Paramedics were later spotted wheeling someone into an ambulance.
According to reports, multiple 911 calls were made by concerned members of the public. According to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, the patient was described as a 48-year-old male who may have ingested multiple prescription medications and was self harming.
The sheriff’s office confirmed the patient was “safely recovered” and taken to a local hospital, where he was receiving medical attention. He is now said to be recovering, and remains in hospital.

Police added that a crisis response unit and licensed mental health professionals were also “on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family”.
A statement said: “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.”
Perez Hilton’s representatives, Golden Artists Entertainment, said: “We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client. At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well being, as well as the well being of his family.”
