The easiest Christmas dinner you’ll ever make, for £3.21 per head

You can feed your friends for less than 20 quid

Everybody loves christmas dinner, but not everyone loves paying an entire weeks food shop for it per head and spending an entire preparing and cooking the dinner.

With exams in full swing, nobody has time for messin’ about like Nigella and her bloody home made turkey breast stuffed with Italian sausage, Marsala-steeped cranberries, panettone stuffing squares with a cheeky poinsettia on the side craic when it comes to Christmas dinner. That’s for your mum to take care of when you go home.

What we like, is good food at a good price that doesn’t take ages to cook. We went to Iceland and managed to buy an entire Christmas Roast Dinner for six people for £19.29 – that’s £3.21 per head. Yes you heard me right, three quid per HEAD. Want to make your christmas dinner as cheap, easy and magical as this one?

Well here is everything you will need:

As you can see, most of this good stuff just needs to be shoved in the oven with no preparation. (Score)

We opted to make our own carrots and roast potatoes because its so easy and they taste way better than the frozen ones. Just peel em’ cut em’ and boil em’ for fifteen minutes and then roast for an hour at 200 degrees.

Oh sweet lord above

Shove everything else in the oven, add milk to the bread sauce and boiling water to the gravy granules, whisk like they’s no tomorrow and oh shit, look at that – you’ve only bloody gone and cooked the easiest, tastiest christmas dinner for six ever.

Yes that’s bacon mixed in with the sprouts. Iceland means business.

Stunners of the week

what christmas is all about xx

Not only was this dinner delicious, cheap and easy to make – it also had left overs you can enjoy for my breakfast tomorrow.

Long live Iceland.
