Simon Cowell has been ranked as one of the top influencers in Brighton
Yes, Zoella is on the list too!
Simon Cowell, best known for his role as head X Factor judge, has been placed as one of "the most influential people in Brighton" in the recently released Brighton Power 100 list.
Despite never having lived in Brighton, he is eligible for the list as his late mother resided in Rottingdean, a neighbouring seaside area.
Just in front of Cowell and coming in second is Caroline Lucas, who was re-elected as the Brighton Pavilion MP last night in the general election.
Taking home the top prize of first place is Tony Bloom, a businessman and entrepreneur who is also chairman of the Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club.
Other famous faces on the list include YouTubers Zoe Sugg (4th) and Alfie Deyes (26th), TV personalities Holly Willoughby (9th) and David Walliams (10th) and Sportspeople Chris Eubank (15th) and Clare Connor CBE (50th).
The full ranking table can be seen here.
