The Sussex Festival headliner has been announced

It’s coming back with a bang

| UPDATED

Yes. You heard it right. The Sussex Festival is returning for yet another year to kick off Sussex' Freshers 2018. Your 2018 headliner will be house DJ's CamelPhat.

CamelPhat are British DJ duo best known for their Grammy nominated worldwide track 'Cola'.

The Sussex Student Union have pulled out all the stops to host yet another welcome festival to entertain both Freshers and current students, following the huge success of last years "Welcome to the Jungle", with epic headliner Wilkinson.

Being the first Golden Ticket event of Freshers, the SU have promised a night of great music, with three stages of entertainment, headlining DJ's CamelPhat and support from Patrick Nazemi and Sussex's very own Fin Evans. They've also organised a live stage and a music from Sussex' resident DJ's at URF Radio.

This year's 'Club Tropicana' themed event will take place on Sunday 16th from 6pm onwards both inside and outside Falmer Bar. The SU promise "Miami beach, neon and 80's vibes" so dust off your leg warmers, throw on your stylish swimwear and cover yourself head to toe in UV paint for a festvial you will not want to miss.

You can purchase your tickets through the SU website, at the Welcome Hub on campus or at Freshers events.
