STRIPPED releases Saint Sports nude calendar for 2017

Ever wanted to see that fit footballer without his shorts? Now you can, and more

On Wednesday 23rd November the closest thing St Andrews will ever get to Calendar Girls is to be released: STRIPPED 2017.

14 Saint Sports teams have dared to bare for 12 months of the cheekiest way to save the date.

The 2016 calendar raised over £2,500. All profits made by the calendars go to charity and this year, funds are being donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, which STRIPPED say is “an incredible charity who have been so supportive of us during the project and we are so proud to support and raise as much money as possible for them.”

One calendar costs £10 but you can buy a ticket (£3 pre-sale or £4 on the night) for the release party tonight. It can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or messaging the facebook page.

The calendar exists for teams to come together and support each other, in something that is a little bit naughty and a lot naked. STRIPPED brings the sports together “in a good-spirited and fun way which the university doesn’t have anything else like at this time.” St Andrews is not known for its nude prowess, so this year’s calendar is sold in the hope of spreading the Saint Sport message as widely as possible.

The STRIPPED Committee spoke to The Tab about  the importance of a “Saint Sports ” family which aims to support “body positivity and a sense of community”. Obviously the biggest lads of the shoot were the hockey boys. They wanted to find the perfect field so badly that they drove 15 minutes out of the way to straddle a jeep in the most idyllic scenery possible. So, look, focus, and most importantly, enjoy.
