External examiners resign from Southampton uni

Cecile HemmingTwo external examiners for the University of Southampton have resigned alongside one hundred and seven others for universities across the UK.
François Guesnet, from from University of Stirling who was an examiner for Jewish Culture and History, along with Sarah Richardson from St Andrews who was an examiner for History and Archaeology, have both resigned.
The UCU is encouraging members to resign from positions as examiners.
This could leave students unable to complete their degrees and graduate on time. Thus, ruining summer career plans as students will not have graduated and therefore, if the job requires they have a degree, they will not get the job.
