We asked the students of Sheffield if they missed their parents or their pets more
There can only be one answer
University is a roller coaster, a cocktail of emotions, a constant state of anger because someone in your house hasn’t done their dishes, that book by your lecturer that you spent £30 on is still sat on the shelf unread, and you're cold. You're always so cold.
University sadness, or 'gradness' as we will call it, comes in many forms, but one of the main forms you will experience at uni is the longing for home. Despite hating it for years, with its solitary, always-shit club, and exponential amount of guys called ‘Johnny’ wearing blazers and XXS River Island t-shirts, you’ve come to miss the comfort of home as you head out into the adult world, clearly not ready to head out into the adult world.
But what do you miss most about being at home? Your parents? Or your pets?
