Royal Holloway ranked 32nd best uni in UK

So what if Reading came 31st?

New rankings have branded Royal Holloway 32nd best uni in the UK and 312th best uni in the world.

Just after we were crowned 129th best uni in the world, the U.S News tells us we are actually slightly lower, at 312th place. But don’t worry, they also say we’re the 32nd best in the UK out of 60.

750 global universities were judged against each other primarily on their Global Research Reputation, their Regional Research Reputation and their Publications.

U.S News said:”All universities can now benchmark themselves against schools in their own country and region, become more visible on the world stage and find top schools in other countries to consider collaborating with.”

If looks were judged, we'd be 1st

Second year Philosophy student Eli said: “I’m happy at my university, I never looked at rankings when I applied, I just knew that this place and my course would make me happy.

“The fact that we’re in the top 50 is good but I don’t really think it’ll impact my future, that depends on my ability.”

Meanwhile our neighbours in Surrey came 37th, chin up pals.
