Introducing the men’s hockey team set to quash King’s

‘Be prepared for one of the most competitive and thrilling games’

UCL 1st XI Men’s Hockey’s are set to play King’s in a match which is likely to be one of the best of the Varistiy Series.

We talked to Fahim, Captain of the 1st XI who told The Tab: “We are the second largest Varsity event behind Rugby. It’s no surprise this year is bigger and better than the previous two seeing how the standard of hockey from both sides have improved over the years. Be prepared for one of the most competitive and thrilling games, the atmosphere will no doubt be electrifying and UCL is looking for a huge win this year.”

The Game kicks off tomorrow at 7:30 at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, student tickets cost £5- you can find out more information and buy tickets here.
