The Sugarhouse announces 2022 Freshers’ lineup

The club will be open almost EVERY NIGHT of Freshers

It’s happening! The Sugarhouse has just announced its 2022 Freshers’ Week lineup, revealing that it will be open for six nights during Freshers’.

The Lancaster University Students’ Union club will be hosting Jungle Vibes nights on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 10:30-late, featuring full club decor, performers, and giveaways throughout the night. The event will be free to enter for people with a college Big Nights Out wristband.

Whoops! Wednesday, a Sugar classic, returns on Wednesday, 10:30 – three. It’s a celebration of ‘everyone’s fave’ (Sugar’s words, not our’s), the VK. Entry will be £5 all night, with giveaways and deals promised. DJ Stu Ridley will take over the front room, with Juxtapose in the main.

Friday will see a glitter party at the nightclub, featuring plenty of glitter, face painting, confetti cannons, and a brand new photo booth. The party will run from 11 until 3:30 AM.

Sugar’s closing party, and the biggest event of Freshers’ Week, is on Saturday, 11 – 3:30. Radio 1’s Dean McCullough will host, with even more giveaways being advertised. On their Instagram, The Sugarhouse said that this event ‘will not be subject to standard entry fees — more information on pricing to follow.’

All events are open to students regardless of their year group. Have a great Freshers’ everyone!
