Glasgow rises up in Complete University rankings

We’re the third best uni in Scotland

Glasgow is now the 29th best university in the UK, meaning it’s climbed one place in the 2017 university rankings.

The data compiled by The Complete University Guide ranks universities based on a number of factors. This includes student satisfaction, research quality and intensity, entry standards, graduate prospects and student to staff ratio, amongst other factors.

We beat other Scottish universities, such as Heriot-Watt, who came 34th, Dundee, who came 35th, and Stirling, who came in at 39th.

Glasgow Caledonian came in at 82nd in the UK.

29th best in this guide, clearly still the best-looking though

Strathclyde suffered a huge fall, coming in at 48th, falling 10 places from the 2016 guide.

However, Glasgow came 10 places behind Edinburgh, who were 19th, and St Andrews, who came in at 5th place.

In the guide for Arts, Drama, and Music Institutions, Glasgow School of Art ranked high, coming in at 11th in the UK.
