Now it’s been reported by The Sun that Prof Eric Herring and Susanna “scandalised” uni by having an affair while she was a student in Bristol.

A source at Bristol University seemed to have plenty to say about the controversial romance: “It was an open secret that something was going on between them,” they confided to the Daily Mail.
According to the source Susanna and the Professor lived together for nearly three years.

Professor Herring continues to work at the University where he is now a reader in International Politics.
