Return of the Anson Rooms

UBU’s infamous music venue to reopen tonight

After major refurbishment and redesign, UBU’s very own music venue is to open its doors to punters for the first time in over a year.

Anson what?

Housed within the Bristol Students’ Union building, Anson Rooms has played host to an impressive roster of high-profile acts in its 50 year history, including David Bowie, Radiohead, Pulp, The Smiths and Coldplay.

The Anson Rooms are now a multi-purpose space for performance and live music, ready to host the cutting-edge contemporary music which has been the foundation of its reputation, accommodating thousands of music-loving students over the past four decades.

The autumn line-up kicks off with Johnny Flynn tonight, electro-pop who-are-they-thens Chvrches on Tuesday, before London Grammar take to the stage on the 20th for their sell-out gig.
