You can get hitched on campus

If you’re a loved-up couple, you can actually tie the knot at the University of Birmingham.

Aston Webb and the Great Hall are both iconic places on campus where you can say your vows to your bae.

You can also get hitched at the Winterbourne Botanic Gardens for a potential summer wedding.

As the Alumni website says: “Our versatile facilities offer catering options from the smaller wedding breakfast to large sit-down meals for up to 520 guests, as well as approved premises for civil marriages and civil partnerships.”

Second year English student Danny told The Tab: “I suppose it’s the perfect way to create a greater sense of community at the University.

“Especially as couples who meet at uni can then tie the knot in the same place they met.”

The wedding photos will be a step up from Selly Oak

Second Year student Amelia said: “It’s a beautiful campus, with lovely buildings.

“Just don’t get married in exam season, no vows being shouted at during my tax reports.”
