Experience

Before becoming co-Editor in Chief of The Tab Birmingham in her final year, Madelaine spent a year in California where she became a student news reporter for local TV. She has since worked in the UK part-time at a commercial radio station as a breakfast show co-host, and news and travel presenter

Education

Madelaine Dowds is a final year Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences student, majoring in Economics. Between the University of Birmingham and her year abroad at San Jose State University in California, she has studied microeconomics, behavioural and experimental economics, broadcast journalism, drama and theatre arts, and game theory. She is currently working on her undergraduate dissertation that combines information economics and journalism.
