  • Ruby is passionate about a career around journalism, hopefully around public affairs and international politics too. She is also an advocate for social mobility as the Publicity Secretary for Birmingham's 93% Club- a charity championing wider career access for state school students.
  • Ruby is also passionate about politics, and is currently President of Birmingham University's Politics Netball Club. This involves planning regular social events, coordinating two teams and weekly matches and leading regular training.

Experience

Ruby joined the Tab team in January 2024, in her first year of university. She hopes to continue on in the role until her third year and gain valuable experience in journalism.

Education

Ruby is a second year Politics and International Relations student at the University of Birmingham. As she goes into her final year in September, she will be looking at graduate programmes in journalism and public affairs.
