Izzy from Love Is Blind cast in Perfect Match season two

Um, Izzy from Love Is Blind is going on Perfect Match despite having a new girlfriend?!

Jess from the latest season is in it too, so I need a timeline pls

In the last few days suddenly Izzy Zapata from Love Is Blind season five is back in all of our lives – he came back for the season six reunion, and has just been cast in Perfect Match season two.

The second announcement has come as a bit of a shock to some people, as straight off the back of Love Is Blind season five, Izzy announced he was dating someone new. So erm, what’s with the going back on another dating show then?

At the Love Is Blind season five reunion, Izzy and Stacy said they had ended everything since the show, and they’d both moved on to new people. Since then, Izzy has started posting about the new relationship in his life, sharing loads of loved up pictures with his new girlfriend – Shelby Webb.

It looks as though Izzy and Shelby met at a cooking class, and they have already got matching tattoos which say “yes chef” on their arms.

“Out of the pods and back on Netflix! Catch me and some of your other favourite reality stars as we search for love on Perfect Match season two, coming this summer,” Izzy said.

“Didn’t you just have a girlfriend like yesterday,” one person commented on Izzy’s Instagram post announcing he’s going on Perfect Match. Another added: “Here for the comments asking about your girl because that was my first thought too.”

What makes the Perfect Match timeline even more confusing is that alongside him in the cast is Jessica from season six of Love Is Blind. So, people are straight away assuming it must have been filmed pretty recently for her to be in it?!

The last two seasons of Love Is Blind (season five and six) were filmed pretty much back to back, so there would have been a window after filming for Izzy and Jess to be on Perfect Match, before Izzy filmed his Love Is Blind reunion and announced his new relationship. According to reports, Perfect Match season two was filmed in August 2023. All I’m saying is, they work hard and quick to get this all in their schedule!

Also in the cast list for season two of Perfect Match is Micah from Love Is Blind season four, and apparently Harry Jowsey from Too Hot To Handle, who is reported to have dated Jessica after they met on the show.

Anyway, it looks as though Izzy doesn’t find love on Perfect Match, because his new girlfriend definitely came after and they are very much still together now. So much drama!
