Oh god, Lorenzo’s dad weighs in with ruthless post about Julia crying for attention in interviews

He claims she’s trying to make Lorenzo look bad

Following the breakup of Love Island 2026 winners Julia and Lorenzo, Lorenzo’s dad has now gotten involved. This all just took a real turn.

Earlier this week, it was revealed the pair had ended after a tough couple of weeks, and a fight at the NTAs. Then, Julia appeared on a Polish show in her first interview afterwards, and broke down in tears as she discussed the split.

“It’s been hard for us this past week. Even the entire time we left the villa. But life in the villa is completely different from life outside,” she explained. She cried as she admitted “it’s still hard” for her to think about, and said her “heart is broken a little”.

Following this, Lorenzo’s dad has made himself involved, with a harsh post on Instagram. He slammed Julia, and claimed she had only cried in the interview to try and make Lorenzo look like a “villain”.

On Instagram, Marco Alessi reshared a screenshot of Julia crying in the interview. He added: “Calling the Polish press to cry about the break up so Lorenzo can be painted as the villain again. The exact same playbook from the villa. I did not conform to your tears then and I do not conform to them now.”

Sorry, am I missing the part where Julia said anything bad about Lorenzo? She was simply discussing how sad she felt about how the relationship ended. I’m not sure what Marco’s point is here, I’ll be honest.

Lorenzo’s dad, who came into the villa on friends and family day, is a former celebrity bodyguard, meaning Lorenzo is just one-degree of separation from some very big names. He had reportedly been putting in a shift behind the scenes for son Lorenzo while he was in the villa, to try and sort him out with management for when the show finished.
