It’s been a messy week, so here are the latest relationship statuses of the Love Island 2026 couples

There have been splits, going official and first dates

It’s been a rough week for our Love Island 2026 couples. If you had any doubt that the six week curse was real, I’m sure this week has changed that.

We hit the six week mark after the villa, and three couples in three days announced they had broken up. I need to sit down. But while all that was going on, the other couples (yes, some weathered the six week storm) were also sharing updates.

Here’s a rundown of all the couples who left Love Island 2026 together, and where they each stand now.

Julia and Lorenzo – Split

Love Island 2026 winners Julia and Lorenzo announced their breakup six weeks after the show. It sounds as though it had been a rough couple of weeks, and a fight at the NTAs was the end of it all. In a sad interview, Julia confirmed the news and said “it’s been hard for us this past week” because life outside the villa was “completely different”.

Julia went onto explain how the breakup came about, and said she and Lorenzo “really decided that it was time to just go our separate ways for now.” She broke down in tears in the interview, and said “it’s still hard” for her to think about, and said her “heart is broken a little”.

Jasmine and Kavan – Girlfriend and boyfriend

While plenty of couples took the six week mark to split up, Jasmine and Kavan became girlfriend and boyfriend. They dropped the news casually during a PR unboxing video on TikTok.

Describing what the girlfriend proposal was like, Jasmine said it was “very subtle” and they “did it really cute”. She added that it was “very private”.

Angelista and Simba – Not official, but dating

via ITV

Angelista and Simba are still together, but no word yet on any labels between them. They’ve been posting a lot together, and have met up with one another’s families.

Yasmin and Tommy – Split

Yasmin and Tommy were the first couple to announce their split this series, the first victims of the six week curse, which took three couples in three days. It’s been a ride.

“Me and Tommy aren’t together anymore,” Yasmin told the BBC. “It ended up being, it was a lot to adjust to on the outside [of the villa]. I mean, we just ended up saying that, you know, we’ve got a lot going on and our lives essentially weren’t aligning on the outside. But we’re still friends. We still really get on. Good terms. Not a bad word to say about the guy.”

Priya and Aidan – Split

The day after Yasmin and Tommy revealed their news, Priya and Aidan did too. They were all over after six weeks, also saying they had decided it was more of friendship between them.

Lola and Sean – Girlfriend and boyfriend

Lola and Sean are now girlfriend and boyfriend, after leaving the show together. In a recent update, they shared they’ve made another big move, too. Lola has left her life in Kent behind, and she and Sean now live together in Ireland, where he is from. They live together in Galway. They said they’ve been enjoying sightseeing together, but have also been filming new TV projects.

Ellie and Finley – Girlfriend and boyfriend

via ITV

Ellie and Finley might be one of the most serious couples to come from the show this year, but after two months, they only just been on their first date. The pair were in London for the NTAs this week, and took the opportunity to go on a fancy dinner date at a rooftop restaurant in the city.

That being said, just a day later, they posted on Instagram to say they were officially girlfriend and boyfriend. Finley wrote “I love you Ellie” in red balloons, and got her a huge bouquet of red roses. Cute!

Mica and Samraj – Not official, but dating

Mica and Samraj have been largely quiet since the villa, enjoying life on holiday together. And up next, they’re planning a big trip to India so Mica can meet all of Samraj’s family for the first time.

They’ve not shared that they’re official yet, but previously said that this would be very soon. It seems they are very happy together, and are taking it all at their own pace.
