Pret is opening on campus THIS FRIDAY

And they’re giving out FREE food and drink vouchers

After sitting vacant for the first three weeks of term, Warwick has confirmed that Pret will finally open on Friday 18 October.

Pret a Manger is replacing Costa, which shut down earlier this year, and will be at the far end of the Piazza in the Rootes Building.

To celebrate the grand opening, Pret will be giving away coffee samples and free food and drink vouchers to students and staff this Friday when their doors open to the public.

Warwick has said that they've introduced Pret on campus to provide "healthy and affordable food and drink choices" and that the chain's commitment to sustainability is a "great fit" for the University.

The store will be open seven days a week, and will serve classic Pret favourites as well as an autumn menu and plenty of vegan and veggie options.

However because Pret is obviously an external outlet, you won't be able to use your Eating at Warwick card to get your coffee fix.

Warwick University said: "The store is part of a new retail plan to create a vibrant campus.

"Pret's commitment to sustainability is a great fit for the University, reflecting Warwick's aim of making a positive difference to the environment."
