Final Ocean tickets sell out in minutes after mammoth SIX HOUR queue

People started queuing at 4am

Dedicated dippers started queuing for Ocean tickets at 4am this morning- six hours before the release.

Hundreds of loyal Ocean goers set their alarms for the early hours to ensure their golden tickets for the last Wednesday of term.

Queues began at 4am despite the ticket offices at both City and Clifton not opening until 10am.

Georgia-May Collings was one of the keen individuals and was first in line at the City box office.

After queuing for six hours the third year managed to get her hands on two of the precious passes.

She said: “The queuing was absolutely worth it, I feel like I’ve won the world cup.”

It is thought the queue was trailing around the City SU building before 7am.

Local legend and club owner Andy Hoe is shocked by how early people were willing to get up for the chance of a ticket.

The King of Nottingham said: “3am? That’s crazy. Both unis are equally dedicated, especially when it comes to the end of the year.”

Mirroring previous end of term Wednesday’s Trent once again broke the internet.

Online tickets also sold out in a matter of minutes, with the NTSU website stating no tickets were available at 10.01am

Last year saw some ticketless Ocean devotees going to extreme measures after failing to secure guaranteed entry.

To ensure they got a piece of the shirt swinging action the savvy students erected tents as early as 5pm outside the club on the final Wednesday of term.

Despite all advanced tickets being sold out further tickets will be available on the door on Wednesday, however Andy Hoe recommends getting down there early.

He said: “For the people who don’t have tickets, we do have the same amount on the door as usual, but people should come early as we’ll definitely fill up earlier than usual!”

Similar scenes are expected on Thursday morning when the LDOT tickets go on sale.
