Boy George and Gok Wan rumoured for grad ball

With the Grad Ball line-up just days away from being released, the rumours are already flying around campus.

Persistent posts on the official Facebook page have set tongues wagging about the much anticipated announcement of the performers at this year’s event.

So far it has been suggested 70s throwback and Karma Chameleon singer, Boy George is set to perform, as well as an appearance from fashionista Gok Wan.

Last year saw Annie Mac, DJ Fresh and Fuse ODG take to the stage at Capital FM Arena.

Third year journalism student Abi Smith is graduating this year but after hearing the rumours has claims she is now put off going to end of year bash.

She said: “Boy George? Everyone would literally know one song, I really hope it isn’t true. Come on Trent, up your game, we want McBusted.”

The 20-year-old added: “I heard Bodger and Badger were rumoured last year, so it would be nice to see the Chuckle Brothers this year.”

The event takes place on Wednesday June 10th and tickets are yet to go on sale.
