Police searching for missing Southampton student find a body in the New Forest

Iona McPhersonPolice searching for Southampton student, Adam Lindley, have discovered a body in the middle of the New Forest.
Adam Lindley, 23, was reported missing from Liberty halls of residence last week. He was last seen on CCTV taking his bicycle out on October 14th and had not been seen since.
Detectives confirmed that earlier today that his body has been found in the Lyndhurst area of the New Forest. His next of kin have been informed.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Officers searching for missing Southampton student have discovered a body…The next of kin Adam Lindley, aged 23 years, have been informed. Formal identification procedures will take place in due course…The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
