One lecturer you don’t mind getting out of bed for on Monday at 9am? Really helpful tutor? Or maybe you’ve been all-round inspired? Well, the SUSU Excellence in Teaching Awards 2014 are here for you to give recognition to those who YOU think deserve it. 

The SUSU Excellence in Teaching Awards are your chance for you to have your say to recognise a specific member of academic staff who stands out for you in one of five categories.

The categories are:

– Outstanding Lecturer

– Teaching & Learning Lifetime Achievement

– Innovative Teaching

– Best Feedback Provisions

– Contribution to Academic Support

Nominations are open NOW so click here to have your say.

Nominations close on Monday 24th at 5pm, and the results will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 8th. Tickets for the event will be available once voting closes next week.

Last year, there were an impressive 663 nominations for 370 individual members of staff. These are the only teaching awards chosen completely by students – so make sure you have your say.
