Tramlines named as one of the top 10 city festivals in the UK

They feature in The Guardian’s festival guide

Sheffield’s very own festival, Tramlines, has been named by The Guardian as one of the UK’s best city festival.

Tramlines, which started in 2009, is taking place on 21st-23rd July this year, and will host the likes of All Saints and The Libertines, as well as Primal Scream and Sheffield band Alvarez Kings.

It will take place in the city at over 70 venues, including The Leadmill and the University of Sheffield, as well as in the Peace Gardens and at Ponderosa Park.

Tramlines has gone from strength over the past seven years, and was awarded ‘Best Metropolitan Festival’ in 2011 at the UK Festival awards. Previous headline acts have been The XX, Olly Murs and Annie Mac.

Tickets are still available and cost from £49.50.
