Police release E-fit of Crookes attack suspect

Daisy CollingwoodYesterday we reported a 23 year old female student had been attacked in Crookes on Monday night.
Today police have released an E-fit of the suspect.

The incident took place between 20:00 and 20:30 on Roslin Road on Monday night.
An unknown male was said to be following the female, then grabbed her round the waist as she tried to change direction. He is thought to have then ran down Crookesmoor Road after she began to scream and struggle.
He was described as white, in his 20’s, with average height and build and a round face.
At the time he was thought to be wearing a dark hooded top tied tightly round his face and dark trousers or jeans.
Witnesses or any one with information about the incident are asked to call 101.
