Omg, someone literally just proposed in the middle of a Notts lecture

Lucia BotfieldA video on TikTok has emerged of a proposal in the middle of a lecture at the University of Nottingham.
In the video, the boy stands up at the front of the room, interrupting the lecturer halfway through his sentence, saying: “Elise, I have loved you since the day I met you. Please will you be my wife.”, to which the lucky lady responds earnestly: “Yeah okay.”
He then leaps up the stairs of the lecture hall, mullet bouncing with every step. He presents her with a bouquet of flowers, and further asserts his love, saying: “I love you so much, thank you.”
The brave proposal is met by laughter and a round of applause, with Elise looking proper chuffed with herself. Speculations have emerged online as to whether this is a hockey proposal, however I refuse to listen. True love has been found in Nottingham for the first time.
