Parklife have released an International Women’s Day playlist, and honestly wow
93 days to go
With only Weekend VIP and Sunday admission tickets remaining in the build up to Parklife Festival 2019 there's excitement, anticipation, intrigue: and this Friday 8th March, there's International Women's Day.
Parklife have created a playlist to honour the women making the festival what it is today, and honestly, it's brilliant. With an eclectic conglomerate of genres that blend into each other as seamlessly as spring fades into summer, this is the only sound that women and non-binary people need to feel the festival vibes.
The playlist features headline acts Solange, Cardi B, Christine and the Queens, Peggy Gou, and Yaeji, blending ecstatic summer sounds, heartfelt lyrics and feminine voices into a combined locus of celebration.
Historically, Parklife Festival's line-up overflows with female talent, and this year is no exception. While we may still live in a man's world most of the time, Parklife promises a weekend of inclusivity at the heart of all the fun.
If you're in need of something fresh to fill your AirPods, or just want to get in the Parklife groove bright and early, find and download PL:19 International Women's Day here.
