No matter where you’re headed for your night out, everyone ends up in the same place, in the welcome golden glow of Mr Chippy.
Not only has he said: “I’ll give you extra chips, I want to make you girls fat” but apparently he is Manchester United’s biggest hooligan and has been blacklisted from loads of stadiums.
Mr Chippy is not only open after a night out, but it is also open during the day, you will always catch Charlie having a chat with customers no matter who they are or how busy it is.
“I look after my friends” says Charlie.
Behind the scenes it looks like working with Charlie could be just as much fun as coming for a visit. He even has visitors from across the globe. We met someone from San Diego.
Charlie, when asked if he owned the best chippy in Lincoln replied: “Never say never and never ever say probably.”
