Mishap in Geography exam
They have to resit in August
Jack HarrisonA first year Geography exam had to be cancelled last Friday due to a server crash.
The server went down halfway through and no answers could be submitted.
The invigilators gave out paper for the students to use but the College of Environmental and Life Sciences rejected the use of paper answer sheets, and have asked students to resit in August.
Top 100 in the world, but still making big mistakes
One Geography fresher, Laura Williams, said “it’s ridiculous, how can they expect us to pay for accommodation in August, when it was their mistake!”
This controversy set anonymous message board, YikYak, alight, with many students calling for a boycott of the Geography department.
As of yet, no action has been taken by the department to correct their mistake.
