Local man sentenced for stealing pants in Exeter high street.
Charlotte HaynesTo top the recent spate of crazy local stories, a man from Exeter has been banged up for pinching panties.

45-year old Karl Wayne Hake pleaded guilty to the one charge of nabbing pants and two pairs of shoes from the Peacocks store on Exeter’s high street.
Hake, who lives on Legion Way, has previous convictions for dishonesty and was already on a 12 week suspended sentence for charges of theft and assault.
Central Devon Magistrates Court have activated his previous suspension and added a four week prison sentence for this premeditated crime, giving him a total sentence of 16 weeks.
