Re-experience your childhood

Exeter University’s short story journal is embracing poetry to discuss childhood

| UPDATED childhood literature riptide

Riptide, the University of Exeter’s short story journal, is branching out into poetry.

It aims to publish two childhood-based works: a poetry anthology and a short story anthology.

The collections are to be produced as part of the Extreme Imagination: A festival of writing for and by young people.

The anthologies are aimed at adults, but focused on childhood and its experiences. They will include work from award-winning writers such as Julia Copus, Vicki Feaver, Matt Harvey, as well as alumni and PhD students from the University of Exeter.
