Fifa in the Forum

Islamic Soc are hosting the tournament to end all tournaments

Let’s be honest, all of us guys out there back ourselves at Fifa.  Whether it’s a one on one with a mate or before a big crowd at a party, our pride and ‘manhood’ is at stake.

Get stuck in, it’s all for charity

No longer is it simply a video game either.  Everyday another Fifa apology appears on our news-feed as the humiliation of losing 5-0 to a mate is displayed before all of Facebook.

Well now is the time to step up and proclaim yourself the ‘FIFA King.’

Organised by the Islamic Society entirely for #onecharityweek, a Fifa 13 doubles tournament is taking place on Tuesday 30 October in the Forum auditorium.

The first 16 teams to sign up by 6.30pm outside the Forum are selected and the competition kicks off from 7pm until late.

The tournament follows a similar structure to the World Cup, where a group stage takes place and the top two teams from each proceed to some very tense knock-out rounds.

It is only a fiver to enter a team and the winning pair will be treated to a meal in Exeter, plus two winning trophies.
