Mr. A Trak has gone and done a funny. Everyone likes the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but for exactly the opposite reasons they'll like this remix.
The YYYs' song Heads Will Roll is a rather standard (good, but still standard) NME-pleaser with all the right '80s noises in all the right '80s places and a nice bit of Soulwax-esque production on the basslines to chunk it up. Its a song that appeals to leather jackets and skiny jeans.
A Trak has only gone and flip-reversed the whole tune! This one appeals to people who are so drugged up, they glow in the dark. By recognising that the synth sound is actually straight out of the dance charts of 1992, and employing some seriously lengthy drops (fastforward to 1:00 anyways), the old timer has created a monster. Onwards and upwards ladies and gents, onwards and upwards!
