Brookes blonde bombshell impresses in Miss England competition
A Brookes girl has had massive success in the Miss England heats.
André Rhoden-PaulBrookes third year Elsa Trueman has been crowned Miss Newark & District.
The Fine Art student from outside of Nottingham beat off the competition in her county to be crowned Miss Newark & District 2014.
Elsa was crowned Miss Newark & District
Speaking to The Tab, 21 year old Elsa said, “I was so surprised I won Miss Newark and District, but so happy.”
In the public voting round Elsa received the highest number of votes. She also raised the highest amount in the charity round.
“I managed to raise the most money in this round painting pop art dog portraits.”
Among the prizes Elsa received were handmade shoes, a photo shoot and a bizarre acupuncture voucher.

Unfortunately Elsa missed out on the chance to compete against other counties in the Miss England finals. However through the experience, she has found an undiscovered passion for modelling.
“Following the competition I’ve started doing some part time modelling which is new and exciting.”
