Tab Fashion picks the best-dressed club-goers from Cirque du Soul at Lakota
Lucia PowellCirque du Soul came to town last week for an unforgettable night at Lakota, complete with an eclectic mix of tunes courtesy of Artful Dodger, a very sweaty dancefloor and a pair of gold-spandex clad buttocks on stilts.
Clubgoers were instructed to ‘play by the rules of the circus’, with the strict dresscode calling for ‘visual delights’, and Bristol certainly didn’t disappoint. Tab Fashion have cherry-picked some of the stand-out looks of the night, and are handing over to you to decide who was the best-dressed.
1) Dayglo delight?
This girl’s eyewatering ensemble might be more acid house than circus, but it definitely makes her stand out from the crowd.
2) Dumbing it down
These monochrome mimes demonstrated a suaver alternative to the clown look.
3) Fabulous face paint
Face paints, glitter and gems provided an easy yet attention-grabbing solution to the fancy dress theme.
4) Cirque Du Chic
These ladies are rocking a more understated look, but their embellished tops still give them an air of decadence.
5) Gold spandex galore
