Update: body found on The Vale has been identified
The man went missing over a month ago
Isabel MorganThe body found on The Vale on Tuesday is believed to be Dean Jones, a 47-year-old man.
However, the body’s identification has not yet been confirmed, as the Police have said a post-mortem and formal identification has yet to take place.
Dean Jones went missing from his home in Lee Bank in Birmingham over a month ago, and was last seen on the 14th of January of this year.
The West Midland Police have released the following statement: “Police searching for missing man Dean Jones from Birmingham have found a body in the lake near to Edgbaston Park Road”.
The 47-year-old’s family have also been informed.
