Aberdeen medical school crowned top in Scotland

Clearly they heard about Beerienteering

Aberdeen has been named as the top medical school in the country, and fifth best nationwide.

The Complete University Guide ranked us above Glasgow and Edinburgh, who were also in the top 10.

The figures also showed every medical student in Aberdeen either gets a job or goes on to further education. Lucky sods.

Of course this came as a surprise after Which? branded the silver city with average based on a study on our sports, nightlife and political engagement.

But Foresterhill doesn’t buck the trend and successfully retained its crown.

Celebrations at Foresterhill to follow

The study looked at quality of research undertaken by the uni as well as student satisfaction and entry grades.

But surprisingly, Aberdeen asks for lower entry requirements from prospective students than most of the unis in the top 10.

Aberdeen asks for AAAAB at Higher, unlike most medical schools that demand five As.

Guess Aberdeen recognise a B for banter helps the medicine go down.
