Bradley Cooper roasted online for looking furious after losing at 2024 Golden Globes

Hollywood is officially back in full swing after months of SAG-AFTRA strikes and everyone from Dua Lipa to Meryl Streep looked like they were having an incredible time at the 2024 Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

But one celebrity who fans noted didn’t look best please by how the evening panned out was Bradley Cooper— who lost out to Cillian Murphy for the Best Actor award as Oppenheimer beat Maestro in three separate categories.

It would be somewhat fair for Bradley to be inwardly raging at an adorable Irish man scooping his shot at career glory. He’s never won a Golden Globe – despite being nominated nine times – and his method acting approach for taking on the role of  composer Leonard Bernstein was even madder than Austin Butler’s attempt at becoming Elvis.

For the past six years, Bradley has been learning to conduct an orchestra to make his portrayal of Leonard authentic. He also banned all chairs from the Maestro set (annoying) because your “energy dips the minute you sit down”. Meanwhile, Cillian took on a comparatively lax six months of prep before filming started for Oppenheimer.

Bradley will once again be up against Cillian for best actor at the 2024 Oscars in March – and fans are convinced he’s going to be left fuming there, too: “And Bradley Cooper remains awardless,” one person wrote on Twitter. “And nothing for Bradley Cooper,” wrote another.

Cillian, meanwhile, was obviously buzzing to have won as Bradley clapped on – straight mouthed – from his table. “Bradley Cooper is gonna hear different versions of Cillian Murphy’s speech all throughout the awards season,” predicted another viewer. “He’s sitting there thinking about [his] life choices.”
