Jasmine and Kav share their verdict on Aidan dating Jas’ sister after split from Priya

Love Island’s Jasmine and Kavan have spent a great deal of time with the latter’s brother, Aidan, who was also on season 13, and Jasmine’s sister, Bella, who people now want on the show. It’s a lot of names, I know, but it led to quite a good deal of rumours about Bella potentially getting with Aidan. 

This week, both Aidan and Priya confirmed their breakup after speculation and rumours following Love Island season 13. 

“Since leaving the villa, and getting to experience life outside together, we’ve realised we’re better suited as friends. I have noting but love and respect for Aidan, and I’ll always look back on our time together very fondly. I genuinely wish him nothing but the very best for everything that’s to come,” Priya, who was just pictured canoodling with Joey Essex, said. 

Naturally, this left Aidan a single pringle and ready to mingle. Is Bella a potential prospect? Kav and Jasmine dished at the NTAs.

It all started soon after leaving the Love Island villa, when Kavan, Aidan, Jasmine, and Bella began hanging out incessantly. They were at various dinners, doing TikToks together, and spending time with one another’s families, so that’s how the rumours started. Amidst all this, Priya was nowhere to be seen. 

To be honest, it was the definition of reading too much into the situation, but we know the internet loves some rampant speculation with precisely zero evidence.

While walking the red carpet at the National Television Awards on Tuesday, the BBC, of all places, asked Kavan and Jasmine about rumours and speculation. 

As soon as the question was popped, Kavan was beaming from ear to ear. Jasmine was a little more reserved with her body language, but she categorically refuted any relationship between the two.

“Ohhh, I would be really surprised to be honest, if there was,” she said, Kavan still smiling. “They’re like family, we spend a lot of time together. Aidan knows my mum really well. Like, I would be very surprised.” 

Though Kav didn’t respond in the moment, unless you count his HUGE smile, he did speak up when the BBC asked about Bella going on Love Island next year. 

“She has a fella, so I’ll actually say no,” he said. “Her and Aidan, there’s nothing.”

Jasmine then revealed that her sister’s “fella” is actually a “situationship”, which is a wild thing to air out in a BBC interview. 

“Kavan cracks me upppp ruining bella soft launch and airing her situationship on the BBC,” one person commented. 

Another said: “No Kav acc loves a gossip look at his grin I’m dead.”
