Omg! Priya spotted getting close to huge reality TV star at the NTAs, just hours after Aidan split

Ummm, guys. The Love Island 2026 cast are relentless. A matter of hours after she posted a statement to confirm she and Aidan had broken up after the villa, Priya was pictured cosying up to someone else at the NTAs last night.

The NTAs is famously always messy. There’s usually a scandal of some sort, someone kicks off, or Pete Wicks will be pictured snogging someone. But Pete Wicks is in a relationship with Olivia Attwood now, so someone else had to fill his boots.

I really didn’t expect that person to be Love Island 2026’s Priya Jaswal. Literally yesterday, she shared a statement confirming that she and Aidan had ended things outside the villa. Next thing, pictures are emerging of her cosying up to none other than Joey Essex. Joey. Essex. 

The Sun has obtained pictures of them looking very close, sat together on a sofa at the event. They appear deeply engaged in conversation, and in one Priya could be seen showing Joey something on her phone, while he giggled at her.

They were apparently “inseparable” at the event, and a source said: “Joey and Priya really hit it off and got close. They’ve swapped numbers and we’ll have to see what happens. Obviously Priya is very fresh to showbiz and just out her connection with Aidan so we’ll see.”

They are said to have “chatted for hours” before leaving the event…together. They headed to a fancy after party together, returning to a bar at a nearby hotel. 

In a statement shared the same afternoon, Priya reflected on her relationship with Aidan. She said: “I’ve had the most amazing experience this summer, and meeting Aidan was a special part of my Love Island journey. We’ve shared some lovely memories together and I’ll always be grateful for the time we spent getting to know each other. 

“Since leaving the villa, and getting to experience life outside together, we’ve realised we’re better suited as friends. I have noting but love and respect for Aidan, and I’ll always look back on our time together very fondly. I genuinely wish him nothing but the very best for everything that’s to come.”
