The three Love Island 2026 cast members who brutally weren’t invited to the NTAs

The National Television Awards are tonight, and as always, loads of the new Love Island cast members will be walking the red carpet, but three didn’t get the invite. 

As revealed by The Sun’s Flic Cross, Jasmine and Kavan, Julia and Lorenzo and Priya and Aidan are all on the official guest list, which is going to be a pretty awkward reunion as Priya and Aidan just confirmed their split. Yasmin is also attending, as are Ellie and Finley. But Angelista, Simba and Tommy, who recently split from Yasmin, didn’t get an invite. 

People are absolutely fuming because Angelista and Simba didn’t get invited even though they were finalists. How did Priya and Aidan and Ellie and Finley make the cut, but Angie and Simba didn’t? It’s so unfair. 

The Love Island girlie has posted a few videos of herself getting ready and doing her hair today, so people are convinced she is attending the awards with a brand instead, but she isn’t on the actual guest list. As for Simba? Who knows. 

One person wrote on Twitter: “Angie and simba not being invited to the NTAs by NTA ……… I’m side-eyeing HARD.” Someone else agreed: “Canny wait to see Jasmine and Angie’s outfits. Also NTA going to hell for not inviting Angie.”

According to Flic Cross, Angelista and Simba aren’t invited because Love Island isn’t nominated for an award at the NTAs this year. Usually, when Love Island is nominated, the finalists all get automatically invited by ITV.

A source told The Sun it’s going to be “uncomfortable” for Aidan and Priya to run into each other on the same day they just posted breakup statements on Instagram. 

“It’s very uncomfortable for them, as the break-up is really fresh and the last thing you want is to have to paint on a smile and have the nation watching as you’re seated right by your ex on national telly, less than a few days after calling it quits,” the insider said. “It’s surprising that they both want to be there, but neither wants to miss their moment as next year there’ll be a whole new cast who’ll attend instead, so they’ll just have to grin and bear it.”

The source continued: “Tommy isn’t on the list for tonight, so Yasmin will be spared that awkwardness. Poor Priya won’t get the same reprieve.”

Harry Cooksley, Toni Laites, Shakira Khan, Ovie Soko, Millie Court, Lucinda Strafford and Sean Stone are all on the official invite list too, as are Ciaran Davies, Georgia Harrison, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Tasha Ghouri. Plus, Olivia Attwood will be hard launching her relationship with Pete Wicks on the red carpet.
