‘He’s suffering’: Perez Hilton’s first three words after waking up in hospital have been revealed
He’s not fully lucid yet
Perez Hilton is currently “really suffering” in the hospital after his now-viral livestream showed him graphically self-harming on TikTok.
The gossip columnist was hospitalised on Tuesday after numerous members of the public reported his TikTok livestream to the police. They managed to secure him after breaking through the barricades he had placed in his home, and they took him to the hospital for treatment.
Now, family insiders have shared insight into what’s going on after his family confessed that “very little information has been made available” to them.
“He’s a man in a lot of pain,” the person, who has known Perez for 20 years, told the Daily Mail. “I think right now he’s focused on the physical, but it’s all tied together. No one deserves the torment he’s going through.”
Though he’s “stable and alert” and was able to talk to his mum, Perez is not “self-aware enough” at the moment to fully understand what happened earlier in the week.
“He’s still in a dark place as I understand it. Just very very sad,” the insider added.
According to them, Perez said upon waking up in the hospital: “I need help.”

There have been some updates about Perez Hilton’s condition
Though information is still scarce, Perez Hilton’s family have been steadily updating us on his wellbeing. Yesterday, they revealed that before the TikTok, Perez was with his children, niece and sister.
“When it became clear that Perez was experiencing a severe mental health crisis and harming himself, they immediately fled to protect the children from witnessing any further trauma,” the statement said.
“Our highest priority right now is helping the children begin to heal from what they experienced. An important part of that process is allowing them to safely return home and begin rebuilding a sense of security and normalcy.”
