Love Island’s Jasmine details where she *really* stands now with Lorenzo, as rumours escalate

Many Love Island viewers are convinced that the winner Lorenzo is still harbouring feelings for Jasmine Müller. Well, he did appear to follow Jasmine on Instagram before his actual partner, Julia. And he’s seemingly been saving fan edits of him and Jasmine in the villa. But how does Jasmine actually feel about Lorenzo now? Has anybody bothered to check in? Here’s every detail Jasmine has shared about where she stands now with Lorenzo after Love Island.

Woah, did the Love Island producers set up Jasmine with Lorenzo?

Jasmine talked through her feelings towards Lorenzo on the NewlyParents podcast. She theorised that the producers sent Lorenzo into the villa in the first place in the hope that he would hit it off with Jasmine.

She explained: “I think that’s what they [the producers] thought, to be honest. Obviously, they don’t reveal their secrets. They’re so good at what they do … But the feeling that I got was like they put Lorenzo in there for me. We coupled up straight away. I saw that vision there, but there was something missing always. and I think when Kav came in, I was like, ‘Woah!'”

She formally friendzoned him

Jasmine insists she didn’t have romantic feelings towards Lorenzo in the villa. She continued: “It genuinely was from my side – I can’t speak for Lorenzo, I don’t know how he feels – but from my side, the minute it became a friendship, it was a friendship. I never really looked back.

“Even the flirty jokes, for me, it was just part of my character. I’m like flirty and stupid and silly when I’m not with someone. That would never happen now. But at the time, I was like, ‘It’s just who I am.’ I can be silly and flirty and it didn’t mean for me anything deep.”

Jasmine is ‘frustrated’ that Love Island viewers still ship her with Lorenzo

She told the Radio Times that the narrative about her and Lorenzo has become “jarring”, “so frustrating” and “annoying for Kav”.

“Coming out [of the villa] and seeing how people perceive it, it’s just crazy, because it’s not what we lived at all …. I feel like people project onto you what they want, and that’s fair enough. You’re watching a show. You have an opinion. But when you’re living it, it’s like, ‘Oh my God, I just want him [Kavan]. Like, can people just let me have him, please?'”
