‘It caused conflict’: Love Island’s Priya addresses why she didn’t like Julia, and she’s blunt
Erm, did any of them like Julia?!
The Love Island participants Priya Jaswal and Julia Majchrzak did not seem to be huge fans of each other. Like, you could practically feel the frostiness radiating from the TV. Priya did not exactly look elated with Julia and Lorenzo were crowned the winners of Love Island 2026.

Is this the least convincing smile ever?

Now, Priya has gone into depth about why she didn’t have the best relationship with Julia in the Love Island villa.
In an interview for Kiss, the Love Island 2025 winner Cach Mercer asked Priya: “You had a few clashes with Julia. It looked like she had tension with a few of the girls in there. Was that the case?”
Priya answered: “Julia, like myself, is an opinionated woman. She doesn’t hold back. That did cause conflict. However, I think it caused conflict more because she would always say her opinion when sometimes [it was] not necessarily needed.” Ouch.

Priya has thrown more shade Julia’s way since leaving the Love Island villa. In an interview with Capital, Priya staunchly defended Lola for calling Julia “a f**ing b*tch”, and saying, “I do not like the girl. I actually hate the girl.”
She said: “Lola is honestly is the most genuine sweetest girl. Like, she did actually try. I was in the dressing room on many occasions and she would have said that off the cuff, but she always would have made Julia feel comfortable. She always used to tell Julia, ‘You look lovely tonight!’ She really used to try and actually make it so it wasn’t awkward. That [comment] was definitely something out of character for Lola.”
