Lorenzo hosted a ‘large’ welcome home from Love Island party… but Julia didn’t turn up
I’m not even convinced these two like each other
Guys. When do we formally accept that we have zero faith in the future of Love Island winners, Julia and Lorenzo? I want to stay positive, but the last few days have been rough.
First there was that toe-curling first interview appearance from them, where Julia was hounding Lorenzo about taking her on a date, and they admitted they’d not met up once since returning home. Oh, and that’s without even mentioning that when he was busy not taking Julia on dates, Lorenzo spent his first weekend outside the villa liking photos of models on Instagram.
But now, there are even MORE reports of drama. According to The Sun, Julia and Lorenzo were meant to meet up last weekend at a party at his house, but she was nowhere to be seen. Instead, Tommy Murphy who was dumped from the villa pretty early on went to the bash. Of course.

A source said: “On Saturday evening Lorenzo had a big welcome back party at the family home in Hertfordshire. It was a large turnout, there were friends, family, his extended friendship circle.
“Julia wasn’t there but Tommy was. The entire road was packed with cars and there was loud music until about midnight, so it was a really big party.”
It would seem that Julia was invited to the party, as according to the publication she was overheard at Gatwick Airport, when they returned from the villa, thanking Lorenzo for the invite. So, why did she stand him up? What’s going on here?
After the party, Lorenzo posted a photo of two Ferrero Rochers, which famously on the show he said is part of his post-night out routine, so he obviously had a great time. Speaking about Lorenzo liking photos of other women, the source added: “Lorenzo stayed at home [the day after the party] so would’ve taken the chocolate pic and been liking the pictures from his own bed.”
Julia seems to have made it very clear she wants more effort from Lorenzo. During their first TV interview together, she asked him: “Where’s the date?” She later added: “Where’s my date?” She then turned to Lorenzo *again* and pushed: “When’s the last time we saw each other?” Awkward.
