Yasmin straight-up admits she *did* get with her ex just days before going on Love Island

Yasmin has just straight-up admitted that yeah, she did actually get with her ex just days before she went on Love Island 2026. Cool, you do you!

During the show, rumours began to circulate about Yasmin and her ex. The Sun reported that it had received a tip-off that she had kissed a former boyfriend, right before flying out to the villa. It was alleged that Yasmin dumped ex Joel on 13th May, and entered the villa as a bombshell on 2nd June, just 20 days later. A photo showed her sat on his lap, with them kissing.

Joel’s pals apparently told The Sun: “She dumped Joel just four days after the kiss. She sent him a text and that was the last he had heard from her. A few of his pals aimed to make contact with her following the night of the party but no one could reach her. It seems she was preparing for the Love Island villa at the time.”

Now, Yasmin has told her side of the story. And she’s admitted a kiss did in fact happen. Talking to Joe Baggs on his Not My Bagg podcast, Yasmin said she and her ex had split up earlier, but then crossed paths again.

“We split up in December and that’s when I applied [for Love Island], in January,” she explained.  “We’re in the same friendship group so we obviously did cross paths a few times after we broke up, but we split up in December.”

Addressing the photo of them kissing, she said: “Yeah. We crossed paths. We had a drunken kiss, you know what I mean?!”

It was then said that “we’ve all done it” and got with an ex after breaking up with them. Tommy was there in the interview with Yasmin, and was nodding along the entire time. So, it doesn’t look as though he’s too bothered about the revelation!
