Clint reveals what happened with Lauren after they left MAFS, and we all saw it coming

Last night’s Commitment Ceremony saw Clint and Lauren vote to leave MAFS Australia, and this is what happened after their exit.

At the time, they both said they would try and make it work on the outside, and Lauren positively told the experts: “Sure, I hope that it does blossom into something.”

However, in an interview with 9Entertainment after leaving the show, Clint revealed that their plans to continue seeing each other didn’t exactly work out.

“Reflecting on my time in the experiment and some of the behaviours that [Lauren] demonstrated, I was just like, ‘You know what, I don’t think this is my person’,” he said.

“This is not someone I want to keep putting in, and doing everything I can, to make it work.”

They initially planned for Lauren to go and stay at his house in Tasmania for a while, hoping things would blossom if they met up in a “natural environment”.

However, in another interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Clint revealed they never met up after the show. Not even once! We all saw that coming.

“We left and she went back to Brisbane. I came back to Tassie,” he said. “I had time to remove myself from the experiment and spend some time at home and just started to think about what had gone on in the last few weeks.”

“I realised that Lauren wasn’t someone I wanted to be with,” Clint continued, adding that she definitely wasn’t someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

However, Clint said they do still message each other as friends from time to time, just to “check in” on each other.

The MAFS groom also opened up about his regrets over the “terrible name calling” that went down at the heated Couples Retreat.

Tensions rose after Jamie called out Lauren for forcing Clint to leave the experiment, and it escalated into a massive argument between everybody.

“I don’t normally regret things in life, but that is definitely a situation I regret for sure,” he said.

Now, Clint is actually dating another MAFS Australia bride from his season, and it looks like they’re really happy together.

It may not have worked out with his match Lauren, but the experiment was still a big success for Clint.
